Choose Your Own Garden Stone

Because this version is supplied without decorative stone, you can select a fill that matches your existing landscaping.

White stones can create a brighter, cleaner border, while black or dark pebbles provide stronger contrast. Beige, grey and multicolour stones work well where a softer natural finish is preferred.

Choose stones that are large enough to remain securely inside the basket openings.

Ground Fixings

The basket is supplied with 3 galvanised steel ground fixings.

These metal stakes are used to anchor the basket into suitable ground and help prevent movement after the basket has been positioned and filled.

When installing several baskets in a row, fixing and aligning them before adding stone helps create a straighter, more consistent border.

Installation

Position the basket in the required location and check that it is level before filling.

Secure it using the supplied ground fixings, then add your chosen decorative stone gradually and distribute it evenly throughout the basket.

If several baskets are being used together, position and align the full run first before filling them with stone.

Garden Design

At 51 cm long and only 11 cm wide, the Straight Gabion Border Basket is useful where garden space is limited but a visible stone edge is wanted.

It works well alongside lawns, gravel, paving, flower beds, ornamental grasses and planted borders. Multiple sections can also be repeated throughout the garden to create a consistent edging design.
