Black Polished Pebbles 30-50mm
Decorative Garden Stones
Stone Size: black stones will vary in size between 30-50mm
Black Polished Pebbles 30–50mm – Decorative Garden Stones
Black Polished Pebbles 30–50 mm are smooth natural stones with deep black and charcoal tones and a polished finish. Their rounded shape gives them a softer appearance than angular gravel, while the dark colour provides a strong contrast against planting, light paving and timber.
The 30–50 mm size is the medium option in the Black Polished Pebbles range. It is more substantial than the 10–30 mm size, making it better suited to larger flower beds, borders, planters and areas around established shrubs where the individual pebbles should remain clearly visible.

Using 30–50 mm Black Polished Pebbles
The 30–50 mm size gives a more pronounced finish than the smaller 10–30 mm Black Polished Pebbles.
Because the stones are larger, their rounded shape and dark surface remain more visible once installed. This makes the 30–50 mm size a better choice for larger beds, borders and planters where a stronger decorative effect is wanted.
For smaller containers, narrow borders or more detailed areas, the 10–30 mm size will usually be easier to use.
A landscaping membrane can be installed underneath outdoor areas to keep the pebbles separate from the soil and make maintenance easier.
Colour and Polished Finish
Black Polished Pebbles contain a natural mix of black, charcoal and dark grey tones. Some stones may be slightly lighter or darker than others.
The polished surface gives them a smoother appearance and helps bring out the darker colouring. The pebbles can appear deeper and richer when wet.
Natural Stone Variations
Black Polished Pebbles are a natural product, so differences in colour, shape, markings and texture should be expected.
The stated 30–50 mm grading is approximate, and some stones may fall slightly outside this range.
Product photographs are intended to represent the material as accurately as possible, although natural batch variation, lighting and screen settings can affect how the colour appears.
Care and Maintenance
Leaves, soil and loose garden debris can normally be removed with a brush, garden blower or gentle rinse with water.
To help maintain the polished appearance, the stones can be cleaned occasionally and a suitable natural stone sealer may be used if required.
