Using 50–80 mm Black Polished Pebbles

The 50–80 mm size gives the boldest finish in the Black Polished Pebbles range.

Compared with the smaller 10–30 mm and 30–50 mm sizes, these stones cover less area individually but create a much more noticeable decorative effect. They are better suited to larger beds, feature borders and substantial planters than small containers or narrow spaces.

For general garden coverage, the smaller Black Polished Pebble sizes will usually be more practical.

A landscaping membrane can be installed underneath outdoor areas to keep the pebbles separate from the soil and make maintenance easier.

Colour and Polished Finish

Black Polished Pebbles contain a natural mix of black, charcoal and dark grey tones. Individual stones may show lighter markings or subtle differences in shade.

The polished surface gives the stones a smoother appearance and helps bring out their darker colouring. When wet, the pebbles usually appear deeper and richer in tone.

Care and Maintenance

Leaves, soil and loose garden debris can normally be removed with a brush, garden blower or gentle rinse with water.

Larger orders may be supplied on pallets. A firm, level surface such as concrete, paving or asphalt is required for unloading with a pallet truck.
