Polar White Pebbles 60–100mm – Premium Decorative Cobbles

Polar White Pebbles 60–100 mm are large, smooth natural decorative stones with a bright white to off-white colour. Their rounded shape and substantial size make them better suited to feature landscaping than general ground coverage.

The 60–100 mm size is the largest option in the Polar White pebble range and falls into a cobble-style grading. Individual stones remain clearly visible once installed, making them a strong choice for feature borders, rock gardens, water features, large planters and areas around established shrubs or specimen plants.

Properties and Benefits

  • Material: Natural decorative stone

  • Size: 60–100 mm

  • Colour: Bright white with subtle natural variation

  • Shape: Rounded and smooth

  • Surface: Natural smooth stone finish

  • Appearance: Large decorative cobbles with a clean white finish

  • Durability: Suitable for long-term outdoor landscaping

  • Maintenance: Easy to clean and maintain

Applications

The 60–100 mm cobble size is intended for more prominent decorative areas where the individual stones form part of the finished design.

  • Feature Borders: Suitable for creating bold decorative edges around larger planted areas.

  • Around Trees & Shrubs: Works well around mature shrubs, specimen plants and small trees.

  • Large Planters: Ideal as a top layer in substantial outdoor planters and feature pots.

  • Rock Gardens: Can be combined with boulders, ornamental grasses and architectural planting.

  • Water Features: Suitable around ponds, fountains and other decorative water areas.

  • Garden Features: Useful around ornaments, sculptures and focal landscaping elements.

  • Decorative Landscaping: Best for areas where a larger white stone is wanted rather than a fine gravel or small-pebble finish.

Using 60–100 mm Polar White Cobbles

The 60–100 mm size is considerably larger than the 10–30 mm and 30–60 mm Polar White Pebbles.

Rather than being spread as a fine, continuous surface, these larger cobbles are better used as visible landscaping elements. Their size makes them suitable for creating defined feature areas, filling spaces around large plants or combining with other stone sizes in layered garden designs.

For general flower beds, smaller planters or areas requiring more even coverage, the 10–30 mm or 30–60 mm sizes will usually be more practical.

A suitable landscaping membrane can be installed underneath outdoor areas to keep the cobbles separate from the soil and simplify maintenance.

Colour and Natural Finish

Polar White Cobbles have a bright white to off-white colour that stands out against green planting, dark foliage, timber and paving.

Because the stones are larger, natural markings and small differences in tone are more noticeable than with smaller gravel. Their appearance may also change slightly when wet.

Natural Stone Variations

Polar White Cobbles are a natural product, so differences in colour, shape, markings and exact dimensions should be expected.

The stated 60–100 mm grading is approximate, and some individual stones may fall slightly outside this range.

Product photographs are intended to represent the material as accurately as possible, although natural batch variation, lighting and screen settings can affect how the colour appears.

Care and Maintenance

Leaves, soil and loose garden debris can normally be removed using a brush, garden blower or gentle rinse with water.

As white stone can show dirt more readily than darker materials, occasional cleaning will help maintain its brighter appearance. A landscaping membrane underneath also helps prevent soil from working its way between the cobbles.

We deliver decorative stone throughout the UK, with quantities available for smaller feature projects as well as larger landscaping work.
