Multicolour Japanese Pebbles 60–120mm – Premium Decorative Stones

Multicolour Japanese Pebbles 60–120 mm are large natural decorative cobbles with a smooth rounded shape and a soft mix of beige, cream, light grey and warm stone tones. Their larger size gives them a more architectural look, making them suitable for statement landscaping rather than fine ground cover.

The 60–120 mm size is best used in feature areas where the individual pebbles are meant to remain clearly visible. They work particularly well around larger shrubs, ornamental grasses, water features, specimen plants and in decorative borders where a more substantial stone is needed.

Properties and Benefits

  • Material: Natural decorative stone

  • Size: 60–120 mm

  • Colour: Mixed beige, cream, pale grey and warm natural tones

  • Shape: Rounded and smooth

  • Surface: Naturally worn, smooth stone finish

  • Appearance: Large decorative cobbles with natural variation

  • Durability: Suitable for long-term outdoor landscaping

  • Maintenance: Easy to clean and maintain

Applications

The 60–120 mm size is better suited to feature landscaping than smaller pebble sizes.

  • Japanese Gardens: Ideal for creating calm, natural-looking Japanese-style gardens, including areas around stepping stones, ornamental plants, rocks, water features and other traditional garden features.

  • Feature Borders: Ideal for bold decorative edging around larger planted areas.

  • Around Trees & Shrubs: Works well around established shrubs, small trees and specimen planting.

  • Large Planters: Suitable for substantial outdoor pots and feature containers.

  • Water Features: A good choice around fountains, ponds and other decorative water areas.

  • Rock Gardens: Works well with larger stones, boulders and structured planting schemes.

  • Garden Features: Suitable around ornaments, statues and focal landscaping elements.

  • Decorative Landscaping: Best used in areas where larger stones will enhance the overall design.

Using 60–120 mm Multicolour Japanese Pebbles

The 60–120 mm grading is the larger option and gives a much bolder finish than smaller Japanese pebble sizes.

Because the stones are much larger, they are not intended to create a fine gravel-like surface. Instead, they are better for feature use, where each pebble remains visible and contributes to the design individually. If you need a size for more general coverage in beds, borders or planters, a smaller size such as 30–60 mm would usually be more practical.

For outdoor use, a suitable landscaping membrane can be laid underneath to help keep the stones separate from the soil and make maintenance easier.

Colour and Natural Finish

These pebbles have a natural mix of cream, beige, pale grey and warm neutral tones. Some stones may contain subtle markings, faint veining or differences in tone.

Their smooth rounded finish gives them a softer appearance than angular stone, making them suitable for both modern and more natural garden styles.

Natural Stone Variations

Multicolour Japanese Pebbles are a natural product, so differences in colour, shape, markings and exact size are normal.

The stated 60–120 mm grading is approximate, and some pebbles may fall slightly outside this range.

Product photographs are intended to represent the material as accurately as possible, although natural variation, lighting and screen settings may affect how the colours appear.

Care and Maintenance

Loose leaves, dirt and other garden debris can usually be removed with a brush, blower or gentle rinse with water.

Using a landscaping membrane underneath the pebbles can help keep the area cleaner and reduce soil contamination over time.
